Porch Swings

I remember being so excited when we bought our first house and there was a swing out front. We didn't have one at our first home that we rented, but now we do. Of course, we live in town so our view is of the neighbors homes, but it's so nice to sit out there in the evenings and relax. I have spent many hours gently swinging with my children. My in-laws have their swing on the back porch and since they live in the country they have beautiful scenery to watch everyday.

Famous kinds of cedar wood more commonly used are the Western Red Cedar and Northern White Cedar.

Porch swings also vary a lot in the seat's depth and the way that the backrest has been carved out. Seat depth is typically 18 to 36 inches, however you can have it as shallow or as deep as you want.
